Academic Status: Undergraduate Student

What conference theme areas are you interested in:

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) for science and engineering;
Data assimilation, challenges in data science, math of AI and ML;
High-order methods, novel discretizations, and scalable solvers;
Multiscale, multiphysics, and multilevel methods

Interests:

Computational and mathematical methods for physics. I am really enthusiastic about studying the underlying causes behind wider scale phenomena. I get great amounts of satisfaction and enjoyment from learning and understanding new concepts that I am then able to manipulate, creating models that represent ideas or conclusions that I achieve through that new knowledge.

Non-Work Related Activities/Interests:

I am a Teaching Assistant for a hispanic serving institution, which has allowed me to enjoy time teaching and sharing ideas with all sorts of different people. It has brought me perspective on many approaches people have to their learning, which has really broaden my understanding of the way we process ideas and how this relates to our background. I am also a technology enthusiast, always looking for developments in the application of knowledge.
