Isabelle Kemajou-Brown

Isabelle Kemajou-Brown

Associate Professor in Mathematics and Actuarial Science at Morgan State University. My research interests are in Applied Mathematics, Stochastic Modeling and Computational Statistics. Some applications include financial assets and transportation networks. B.S. and M.S. both in Mathematics at the University of Yaounde 1; Obtained a one year graduate level diploma in Applied Mathematical Finance at the African Institute for Mathematical Science (AIMS) in Cape Town South Africa in 2008; Earned a PhD in Mathematics at Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2012. After my PhD graduation, I was a MCFAM Postdoc at the University of Minnesota Twin-cities for 3 years. I love my participation to the Broader Engagement program through the SIAM CSE21 since 2020 and always excited about the opportunities for students and for faculty development that it offers.
