In 2015, Sustainable Horizons Institute (SHI) and Berkeley Lab Computing Sciences partnered with an innovative idea to increase the breadth and quality of the Computing Sciences workforce. This idea led to the emergence of a new program: Sustainable Research Pathways (SRP). SRP originated as a method of connecting scientists from underrepresented groups (Black or African American, Hispanic/Latinx, American Indian, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islanders, women, and persons with disabilities), first generation scholars, smaller colleges & universities) with scientists at Berkeley Lab, to encourage the formation of ongoing research collaborations.
This page provides SRP participants (staff, faculty, and students), with information needed for a successful virtual workshop.
