Kelly Moynihan serves as Program Assistant at Sustainable Horizons Institute. Kelly graduated from University of Houston – Downtown, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. She comes to Sustainable Horizons from the education industry with experience as a Career Services Coordinator, and she is interested in workforce development.
Kelly is interested in mentorship models and how mentorship can fast-track the success of young professionals. She believes that mentorship is especially critical during transition from the higher learning environment to the workforce. One of her future goals is to purse an advanced degree in economics. Kelly is inspired by the SHI mission of building sustainable, inclusive connections between students, faculty, and professionals in science, technology, engineering and math.
In her short time at SHI, Kelly has been gearing up to launch SRP 2018. She is excited to bring people together over emerging research in science, technology, engineering and math, and facilitate the building of inclusive professional relationships that provide mentorship and support for the development of diverse leaders and professionals. She looks forward to providing program support for SHI projects and helping our organization grow.
