I’m at Assistant Professor of Mathematics at San Francisco State University. My research work is at the intersection of the physical sciences and computational mathematics. These include development of fast treecode algorithms for N-body interactions in condensed matter physics, kinetic Monte Carlo methods for crystal growth and particle-in-cell methods for plasma dynamics.

I enjoy working with students, and fine tuning pedagogical approaches to incorporate computation into undergraduate curriculum.
