Interests:

My interests are in using supercomputers to run simulations of droplet laden turbulence to study the fundamental physical mechanisms of the droplet-turbulence interactions. I plan to continue this research by adding chemistry and combustion to our current computational fluid dynamics code. The mixture of scientific computing with deep understanding of physics truly excites me.

Non-Work Related Activities:

I work as a teaching assistant for the Washington STate Academic RedShirt program (STARS) which helps students from underprivileged backgrounds transition into engineering classes their first year. I’m committed to increasing diversity in engineering and this TA position allows me to influence these students directly.
