Quincy Beasley

Mr. Beasley has 8 years of experience in K-12 education. Before joining Sustainable Horizons Institute, Mr. Beasley was a high school math teacher and department chair for Shelby County Schools in Memphis, TN. During his tenure in education, he also served as the Education Services Coordinator for a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) charter school where he was tasked with implementing Project Based Learning for K-6 classes. Mr. Beasley is a life member of The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). Through NSBE, he has hosted STEM exposure events and mentored youth who are interested in engineering. Additionally, he is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. through which he has served as the coordinator for the Youth Leadership Development Institute via his local chapter. He is passionate about STEM education and increasing the number of underrepresented students who choose STEM careers.

Mr. Beasley received his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and a M.A.T. in Instruction and Curriculum Leadership.
