Sustainable Horizons Institute is leading the SC14 Supercomputing Conference Broader Engagement program. Dr. Leung serves as the Chair of the SC14 BE program, Elizabeth Leake serves as Deputy Chair, and Dr. Crivelli, serves on the Networking Event – Poster Mentoring subcommittee. Through this program, we support the development of students, faculty, and professionals who have been traditionally under-represented in the main tracks of SC (African Americans, Hispanics, Native Americans, women, and people with disabilities). The BE program provides specialized activities aimed at building community, engaging people in the field and the conference, mentoring, and technical sessions. Information about SC14 can be found here and information about the Broader Engagement program can be found here.
