What conference theme areas are you interested in:

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) for science and engineering;
Data assimilation, challenges in data science, math of AI and ML;
Education and interdisciplinary programs in CSE

Interests:

My main research interests involve machine learning, as well as certain parts of bioinformatics. I plan to pursue graduate studies, which means I certainly do plan to continue my path as a researcher. My experience with research has been mostly with machine learning and, with my current summer research internship, I am gaining some experience in bioinformatics research. Although these are the areas I have mostly been interested in, I am always open to different research topics within computer science.

Non-Work Related Activities/Interests:

As a way to promote the diversity of women in STEM to continue their studies in their fields, I am part of the #Include organization on my campus. We promote activities and forums for the student community, including workshops (including some to female high school students and young girls), motivational symposiums with successful women in STEM careers, social activities meant to solidify the female community inside our campus, among other types of activities.
