I have spent the last three year exploring research interests varying from pure mathematics to pure physics to algorithm design and pretty much everywhere in between. Some highlights from this research experience are two internships at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, one in mitigating the affect missing values in data have on cluster results and the other mathematically and computationally modeling a nano-scale pressure sensor and all of the physics associated with its nano-scale fluid flows. I’d like to combine all of these fields and focus on modeling quantum systems with abstract algebra.
Non-Work Related Activities/Interests:
I love to dance and read in my free time. I am a part of ACM-W, Association for women in math, Society of Physics Students, Pi Mu Epsilon, and STEM Leadership society. I have been an officer in both PME and STEM Leadership Society. I also exchange letters to young students in both my local area and in Vietnam to give them an application to write English.
