Building Engagement US-RSE 2025

We are excited to announce that we are bringing the Building Engagement (BE) program to a new conference in 2025 — the U.S. Research Software Engineers conference to be held October 6-8 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

  • Engage & support participation by individuals from all different backgrounds across the U.S.

Eligibility

We are delighted to invite undergraduate and graduate students at accredited U.S. academic institutions including: community, women’s, liberal arts, and other small colleges and public and private universities to apply for BE@US-RSE2025.

Must be at least 18 years of age and can travel to the IN PERSON event.

  • Application for Guided Affinity Group Leaders & Review Committee Opens: July 25, 2025
  • Guided Affinity Group Leader & Review Committee Deadline: Friday, August 15
  • Application for Funded Participants Opens: August 11
  • Application funded participant deadline: August 27, 2025
  • Conference: October 6-8, 2025 (arrival on Sunday, Oct 5, including required Orientation session)
