The Gateways conference series is hosted each year at a location in the US. Gateways 2025 is excited to be coming to Green Bay, Wisconsin! Join us as we continue to bridge the connection between science and gateways. Gateways 2025 will have a robust program, open access proceedings, and a special journal publication opportunity for all accepted paper submissions.
June 16, 2025: Co-located event requests due
July 9, 2025: Tutorial submissions are due
July 9, 2025: Paper , demo, and panel submissions are due
August 4, 2025: Poster and BYOP – Bring Your Own Portal submissions are due
August 12, 2025: Notification of acceptance of paper presentations, demos, panels, and tutorials will be sent
September 2, 2025: Notification of acceptance of BYOP and poster submissions will be sent
September 10, 2025: Student posters submissions due
October 13 – October 24, 2025: Gateways 2025 virtual tutorials
October 28-30, 2025: Gateways 2025 in-person conference in Green Bay, WI
Instructions for submissions:
Step 1: Prepare your submission.
Submissions for papers, demos, panels, and tutorials must not exceed 2-4 pages. Abstracts for the BYOP and Posters must not exceed 500 words.

Save your file in PDF format.
Step 2: Upload your PDF submission.
Submission of all presentations is through EasyChair. You will need to include the following information when you submit:
Title:
Authors (including email and affiliation)
Keywords
Abstract
PDF attachment of your 2-4 page paper (only for presentation, demo, panel, and tutorial submissions)
You will also be able to revise your abstract or upload an updated PDF until the submission deadline.

Step 3: Relax and wait until the review process is over.
It is a requirement that at least one author of each accepted submission attends the conference.
