Biography:
Christian Trefftz was born and raised in Colombia, South-America. He earned and undergraduate degree at Universidad EAFIT, a M.S. degree at Western Michigan University and a Ph.D. at Michigan State University, all in Computer Science. He has been teaching at Grand Valley State University, in Allendale, Michigan since 2001.
Motivation:
Ms. Dettling is a very capable undergraduate student. This collaboration would expand her intellectual horizons beyond what I can do. This will be a great opportunity for me to understand better HPC.
