Colin is a passionate educational professional with sixteen years in the field across the public and private sectors, both within and outside of the classroom. He is dedicated to serving the needs of learners, instructors, researchers, and organizations with the goal of achieving the greatest possible human flourishing for each individual and for society at large. Through his work in adult education publishing, special education teaching, and program management in the STEM non-profit sector, Colin has built an unshakeable belief in the transformative powers of education on the human being and science on humanity as a whole.
Before coming to Sustainable Horizons, Colin served California’s adult schools and community colleges in providing life-changing and generationally-impactful resources and opportunities to the most underserved and overlooked among us through his role as an educational software trainer and consultant.
Colin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Chicago and truly believes in his alma mater’s motto – Crescat Scientia, Vita Excolatur: Let knowledge grow from more to more; and so be human life enriched.
