Interests:
My current research is focused on coagulation and specifically the role of lipid surfaces in coagulation reactions. My broader interests include mathematical biology and mathematical modeling.
Non-Work Related Activities/Interests:
My other interests include community outreach, specifically encouraging women to pursue and education/career in STEM fields. As a member of the Society of Women in Mathematics (SWiM) I have participated in a program called Girls Lead the Way in which Colorado high school girls visit Mines to learn about different STEM fields.
