What conference theme areas are you interested in (check all that apply):

High-order methods, novel discretizations, and scalable solvers;
Inverse problems, optimization, and uncertainty quantification; Model and dimensionality reduction

My research interests are focused on inverse problems and their applications in real-world scenarios such as imaging in the geosciences and biomedical industries. In particular, forming tractable algorithms for high dimensional problems is of immense interest to me.

Non-Work Related Activities/Interests:

I am an avid hiker and novice birder in Phoenix so I have volunteered for upkeep of a few passages of the Arizona Trail which is an 800 mile trail which starts at the US-Mexico border and extends to the AZ-Utah border. In addition, I am volunteering as an instructor for the upcoming Fall for inmates at the Florence state prison because recidivism rates for Native Americans and African Americans are an issue for my community. Higher education is an avenue that needs to be supported for us to make a dent in these rates and give inmates an opportunity to successfully reintegrate into society.
