I am a sophomore at Philander Smith University majoring in Computer Science. I am a highly motivated student with a passion for learning. I have foundation in computer science fundamentals and am becoming proficient in C++. I am a quick learner and I go above and beyond to understand concepts. I am a team player and confident in being a leader when needed. I eager to learn more about the ever evolving field of computer science and gain hands-on-experience.

I desire to be on of the many world changers in computer science. I am interested in using skills from these fields at the DOE labs. I believe that it can be a hands on learning experience which is always a valuable asset. I am eager to learn from and collaborate with scientist and engineers at DOE labs to make a positive impact.
Motivation:
This opportunity can provide an opportunity for me to gain hands on experience in research and learn collaboration skills. I will also be able to address challenges happening in our world. I believe this program can help me learn more about the computer science field and narrow down what I want to study in the field. It can help me decide what area I like the most. I would also be able to network with other students of similar interest and professionals in the field. I also have a desire to contribute to research that will help everyone live easier and more efficient lives.
