Analysis, PDE and Stochastic PDE, Probability Theory, Sparse Analysis in Image Processing, Convex Optimization, Machine Learning, Advanced Algorithms and Data Structures, Operating Systems, Spatial Data Science, Graph Theory, Cryptology and Number Theory.

Have you published any research or worked on research/technical projects? Yes
Where has your research been published or where have you conducted research/technical projects? I conducted the research as an undergraduate student at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. My paper is published on Integers Journal and can be found at this link http://math.colgate.edu/~integers/x58/x58.pdf

Please describe your research/academic interests:
I am strongly interested in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics and Data Analyze/Data Science roles. However, I am open to learn and discover other related fields.

Computational and Data Science Areas:
Applied Mathematics; Computer Science; Data Analytics and Visualization; High-Performance Computing; Machine Learning and AI

Research Synergy:
I hope to have an opportunity to apply my Analysis, Probability and PDE knowledge into a computational and data sciences project. I am especially interested in stochastic models and optimization, hence, feel aligned with either the Mathematical Modelling and Optimization project or the project to construct predictive models from experimental and observational data at the Argonne National Lab. Those projects involve modern areas that I wish to gain more insights into, especially the ML learning models and optimization schemes, and their applications. I am eager to bring my mathematics background into realistic applications.

Motivation:
I am always seeking for a hand-on experience where I can apply my research skills to projects with real-world applications. I was really excited when I found out about SRP where I could achieve exactly what I desired during my PhD journey. Moreover, the program promotes an inclusive workplace environment and provides a precious opportunity to work with experts in the field as well as a chance to work at one of the national laboratories. This is extremely valuable for my career orientation as a scientist. On the other hand, I believe I can thrive in the projects with my skills, hard work and passion.
