Nitin Sukhija

Dr. Nitin Sukhija received his BS degree (with honors) in Computer Science Engineering from Institute of Technology and Management, India (2002), Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from Symbiosis, India (2005), MBA degree in Information Systems from San Diego State University (2009), and MS degree in Computer Science majoring in Computing from National University, San Diego (2010). Dr. Sukhija received his doctorate in Computer Science from Mississippi State University majoring in High Performance Computing (2015) and is currently working as a Assistant Research Professor for Distributed Analytics and Security Institute (DASI), Mississippi State University. He is a member of the IEEE and the IEEE Computer Society and also a member of the ACM, ASEE, SIAM and the secretary for Mississippi State University Uplison Pi Epsilon (UPE) Chapter. He serves as XSEDE Campus Champion for Mississippi State University and is also a member of XSEDE CC leadership Team. His research efforts are focused on high performance computing, dynamic load balancing, performance optimization, resilience and robustness analysis, self-healing systems, grid computing, cyberinfrastructure and virtual organizations, fault tolerance in cloud computing, autonomic systems and monitoring methods for autonomic failure detection and recovery, big data analytics, and cyber security.
