Wednesday, March 1, 2017

9:10 AM – 10:50 AM

Location: Rooms 406/407

This workshop offers participants insights and concrete approaches for navigating pathways to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) career success. Incorporating individual reflection, drawing, and discussion, the workshop helps participants develop fundamental representations of pathways through academia and towards fulfilling their aspirations in today’s technology-driven world. Participants visualize their pathways from the past through the present and into their future. They identify ways to find and recognize obstacles and techniques and resources to overcome them. This workshop is ideal for students seeking inspiration and guidance for achieving their dreams.

This workshop is great for mentor/protege pairs or for individuals who wish to learn meaningful ways to navigate a scientific career.
