Sustainable Research Pathways 2025

Sustainable Research Pathways (SRP) began through a partnership with Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) in 2015 and expanded in 2022 to a multi-lab program through the Department of Energy (DOE)’s Exascale Computing Project(ECP), then in 2023 to include non-ECP computational and data science projects, as coordinated through the Computational Research Leadership Council (CRLC). We gratefully acknowledge continued SRP support from the US Department of Energy’s Office of Advanced Scientific Computing Research through the Partnering for Scientific-Software Ecosystem Opportunities (PESO) project and the Consortium for the Advancement of Scientific Software (CASS) .

In 2025, we are excited to expand SRP to the National Science Foundation (NSF) National AI Research Resource (NAIRR) pilot and the High Performance Software Foundation (HPSF) projects.
