Sustainable Horizons Institute is excited to share that we’ll be part of CV Giving Day, Tuesday, March 3, 2026 – a regional celebration where nonprofits across the Coachella Valley come together for 24 hours of community giving and impact.
This year, SHI will use CV Giving Day to support Building Engagement (BE) Program participants attending the Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) Conference on Computational Science and Engineering (CSE27) -a powerful opportunity for emerging researchers to grow their skills and expand their professional networks.
We’ll also be highlighting the inspiring journey of students like Isiaha Rodriguez, whose path from Desert Hot Springs to advanced research at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory shows what becomes possible when preparation meets opportunity.
