With over 15 years’ experience in office and project management (in both the profit and non-profit sectors), Ellen enjoys the challenges and rewards that come with the daily operations of an organization and brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Before coming to Sustainable Horizons Institute, Ellen was Director of Operations at the non-profit Guide Dogs of the Desert, responsible for its day-to-day operations from HR and payroll to IT and office support. Her passion for creating positive change, combined with her exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, will help SHI create a more equitable and inclusive future for all scientists, mathematicians, and engineers from underrepresented communities.
