Verónica G. Vergara Larrea

Verónica G. Vergara Larrea is originally from Quito, Ecuador. She obtained her bachelor of arts degree in Mathematics/Physics at Reed College and her masters of science degree in Computational Science at Florida State University. Veronica has been involved in high performance computing since 2010, when she first attended the SC conference as a Student Volunteer, and have been working in the field for the last four years. She currently holds a position as an HPC User Support Specialist at the Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility. Before ORNL, she was a staff member at Purdue University’s Research Computing group. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, baking, and yoga.
